Emine Pektekin [APC Lead]

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

I am Emine Pektekin, and I am delighted to serve as the Chair of the Apex Parents
Committee. I am a new Apex parent with my daughter currently in Reception, and I have
a niece joining the secondary school in September 2025, inshaAllah. As an English
teacher with over seven years of experience and a GCSE examiner, I bring a strong
educational background to this role. Previously, I spent 14 years in the healthcare sector.
I am deeply committed to advocating for parents and translating their perspectives into
meaningful actions that benefit our school community, bi'ithnillah.

Mohammed Mannan (Mamun) [APC Deputy Lead]

I’m Mohammed, also known as Mamun. My daughter is in Year 4, and we’ve been part of
Apex since November 2022. Professionally, I am a Head of Procurement with 10 years of
experience as a school governor, including at a school for children with PMLD. I believe
every child should have the opportunity to achieve their full potential, and I am excited to
work with Apex Trust to help ‘little feet climb mountains.’

Iman Khalif

Assalamu ‘alaikum,
My name is Iman, and I have a daughter in Year 2 and a son who, in sha Allah, will start
Reception next year. Since joining Apex in September 2022, it has been a joy to see the
growth in my daughter’s confidence and Islamic knowledge. With a background in
education and current work in Education and Welfare Services, I am passionate about

supporting the school’s success. I look forward to working with parents and the school to
achieve our shared goals.

Anneka Mundy

I have a son in Reception and a longstanding connection to Apex, having worked as a
teacher and EYFS coordinator at the school from 2010 to 2015. With over 15 years of
experience in the Early Years sector, I am thrilled to bring my expertise to the APC and
help support our youngest learners.

Mohammad Hasan (Hasan)

I am Mohammad Hasan, father to two daughters in Year 5 and Reception. As a Building
Surveyor with experience in improving Built Environment Services for Local Authorities, I
